I see a lot of potential customers on reddit i would like to email and was wondering if there is a way to scrape reddit emails?

I don't think Reddit emails are public, nor do you need one to create an account.

If you see potential clients on reddit just interact with them on reddit, no way to get the emails that i know of and it wouldn't be quite legal to spam them either

I guess direct marketing is the best way to go

nope, you cant do that on reddit. like u said the best method is to go with Direct marketing.

No modern social media platform makes user emails available to the public. You could although write a crawler to crawl through all the pages in a certain subredit and collect emails that were included in comments.
