1. post ad on classifieds site for job, house, or product, or date, etc
2. mark emails you asking for job house product or date
3. you reply to email with CPA link
4. profit

Yep. Pretty much. But don't confuse "simple" with easy. Everything in IM is pretty simple. Easy, well that's a different matter. For your example, being able to post ads consistently, with enough volume and that stick, is a real challenge. Not to mention that "how" you get the affiliate link in their hands can be tricky as well. Just sending an affiliate link doesn't tend to work out great, but sometimes sending them to some sort of sales page doesn't either. Takes a lot of testing to get something that really works.

i know an even better cpa scam where you give them your phone number and you talk to the people and get them to send you their personal information and then use it and submit it yoursel......oops said too much.

but for a beginner, is it ok to just post cpa links in chat rooms until you build up a bankroll?

This is fine but you run the risk of being banned (automatically) by algorithms that monitor the chat rooms. I'd advise using a different method.

@OP your strategy still works, and yes it's that simple. I suggest reading some of the delayed autoresponder posts on this website for tips on how to expand, automate, and earn more money from that process.

you mean banned from the chat-rooms? the cpa doesn't care where i post my links as long as someone clicks them right?
and what about chat rooms in other countries, not the big name yahoo or whatever chat rooms>
