Is there anyone else got hit by 7th-6th November 2019 google update

I manage several adult (escorts) niche sites, till 6th Nov. 2019 everything was fine most of my sites were ranked among #5 but suddenly on 7th Nov. my sites went down to 3rd and 4th page (it's fine, I can understand that google have to give webmasters heart attach every once in a while) but the sad part is that now all the shady sites with spam backlinks and thin content are coming to the top search results... There is not even a single thing good about these site whereas my sites had very high quality content with very awesome CTR (15%), inspite of it I have been ranked out by these bogus sites..... It hurts and hurts very badly.....

Now if somebody have any idea on how to come out of this situation then please share it.........

There are a few threads on this, same on other forums. So yeah, you aren't alone when Google strikes! The problem is...we can't strike back for now.

Not really, as much as you can try to improve. I will suggest a massive redesign of what you have, with completely new texts. If that doesn't work, make other websites. If you sit and wait, you will loose.

One theory I've heard kicked around:

Google rolls out BERT update
New York Times gets hit hard
Google dials up domain ranking/backlink juice
Larger sites (and well hidden PBNs) reap the benefits.

We also got hit by google and around 50% organic traffic dropped

either you can do something from today or you can wait until google again update his algo.

what is the page speed? did you created amp pages? is your search console error free?

>> No I have not created AMP pages because I did that on one of my other website (wordpress) and seen negative results, I mean as soon as I created AMP pages (using a paid wordpress plugin) my ranking dropped and as soon as I removed it came back to the previous position. That's why I decided to stay away from AMP pages for now.

Recently I noticed that some of my competitors (who also got hit by the update approx. same % as me) came back to ranking, I checked their site's history (using wayback machine) and found that they have not made any changes on front pages. Then only thing that they have extra from my site is "very huge spam backlink profile"... So I think google is giving preference to the sites on basis of backlinks.......

All my websites are at 100. But Googles gives a f*ck about this score. It only matters to your users.

Yeah that's true, I think spam link builders are winning the battle right now.........!

Any improvement or decline. Mine got another 10-15% decline

Will try to follow this now but now what to do sit back patiently or do some changes. Anyone here on this forum started recovering their website from this Google november 2019 update?
