Is there any way to let Firefox use "https://" everytime? Please help

Hi All,
As title says, i need to let firefox use "h t t p s ://" instead of "h t t p ://". Is there any way to do this in setting?

Actually, i want to run vagex firefox plugin & youtube don't open with "h t t p ://" from here. So i think, if i can push firefox to use "h t t p s ://" every time then i can able to get point from vagex.
& i know every site don't have that code but i need only for youtube.

I have one more question, when i open a new tab in firefox, it says,

"Problem loading page,

The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.

Web addresses are usually written like

Make sure that you're using forward slashes (i.e.
/)."

A blank page has setup as homepage & no unauthorized adons in my firefox.

Why would you want to do this anyway? Not all websites use https.

What are you talking about OP? https means SSL installed on the website (data is encrypted), it has nothing to do with your browser... at:

I thoght that only webistes that use secured protocol can be opened with it. If you'll type in "https" instead of "http" it will redirect you automatically anyway.

That would break a lot of websites. They have to have a SSL Certificate configured with the HTTPd for SSL to work. Otherwise the site won't load.
