id like to mass edit articles on a folder just change a specific word on each of the articles.

the articles are on a notepad files. 1 article 1 notepad files.

i am pretty sure there is a python script for this in linux OS.

Easy with notepad++. Download and install if you don't have it. Get all those articles in a folder -> fireup notepad++ and press CTRL + F -> In the search box, go to the third tab ( find in files). There, locate the folder -> enter the find and replace string and press "replace in files". Hope that helps.

If you open all the files with notepad++ you can search and replace in all the documents

In Linux it can be accomplished using sed, so no Python needed, but he says he uses Notepad++ so he's likely to be on Win.
