is there any point for me to even start getting into IM?

To answer that question, here is some info about me:

I have no knowledge when it comes to creating a website.
I can't write for shit, so writing my own articles/reviews and whatnot isn't really an option.
I wanted to try youtube + clickbank (directly from youtube to hoplink using tinyurl) However I don't know anything about making videos, and since my writing is shit I don't feel comfortable making a script for a cam review etc. I took the easy way out and just stole someone else's video and reuploaded it. Next day the video was removed and my youtube account was one step closer to abomination. Note that I used a service that was supposed to land me 1000 youtube views. Not sure if it got deleted because of that or the fact that is was copied from another video.
Now I'm thinking about site flipping as it doesn't seem like something that requires me to "create" anything other than a sales thread on some other forum or whatever.

I have no skills in the real world (other than being decent with a computer), hence why I want to get into IM. My years are creeping up on me, and I'm starting to fear the future.

Well for sure, don't get into IM with that mentality because that won't lead you nowhere.

IM is about mastering your smartness in order to find products that fit people needs.
You can't do shit ? Hire people to do so. Don't have money ? Work an offline job, extra hours and get that money to hire people.

Think of IM like any other business. What are your skills? Don't say "computers", be specific. Is there a need in the market for your skills? What help do you need in delivering your skills to your potential customers? How much will that help cost? How much can you earn from selling your skills? Is there a profit margin there, or no? If yes, proceed. If no, think of another plan. If you're in the US, the "worst-case" scenario might be that you have to go to community college or something, brush up on some peripheral skills, and then re-explore the possibility of making yourself sellable.

If your writing sucks, hire someone to maybe write a cover letter for employers or template email to send out to clients. (Shameless self plug: I can probably help in that area) If your computer skills are outdated, read online, grab a book, or take a class or two. If you're just unsure about where to get started in IM-type ventures, well at least you've found the right place. As always, the stickies are a great resource.

3 years ago i had zero knowledge at all and while im still feeling my way im now earning decent bank.

You say you cant write for shit but your post is written ok, In the beginning i used to get frustrated with writing, but i stuck at it.

Theres one thing said on this forum time and time again, and its something many dont do, and that's to read, read, and read. Journey sections, making money section. For a noob it can be daunting but after a few months it really does start to stick and make sense.

Something that is important is to not be afraid to fail, you WILL fail with some of your projects, to succeed everyone must have failed at some point, lots can be learned from failure.

Keep at it.

Great motivation, thank you! I will keep on reading. I have a brother that is kind of into mental health/fitness. I was thinking of maybe starting a blog where I would review different CB products. both in video version and in text. Don't really know how to make a blog though, so I guess I'll go read a bit. any tips or tricks is appricaited! :)

I would go with hostwinds hosting, its good and cheap, then get yourself a domain from godaddy for 0.99c, there will be coupon codes online and on this forum, then hit youtube. You will find all you need to learn on there, like how to set up hosting, how to install wordpress etc.

1. Create a email list for a subject you really care about. If it's pets, garden, stocks, hot girls - what ever.
2. Get more on your list from friends, own network, social media, post relevant content on relevant forums, friends network - keep growing
3. Mail you list at least once a week
4. Continue to #2
5. Sell text-ads (called solo ads) in your mails

Very simple - everyone can do it - will not make you a millionaire - 2-3K/month should be within reach within 6 months.

I have a very, very simple method for you that is completely free.
All you need:
-Pinterest account
-Web 2.0 site
-Adsense (other ad networks work as well, it should be easy to join one)
-Willingness to succeed

1. Go on pinterest and make a niche board, think things like recipes, crafts, etc.
2. Find about 100-200 images in this niche (You can use google images or the pinterest search)
3. Post all of these onto your web 2.0
4. Post 5-10 onto your pinterest so your board seems to have activity
5. Follow other people, follow as many as possible
6. gradually post more and more images from your site
7. When it says you hit a follow limit wait about a day or two and unfollow all of your current people you are following
8. repeat 2-7

Do this for a month without quitting and you will start to make about 5-10 bucks a day which will gradually grow over time. You can also make more niche boards and do the same. This WILL work if you put in the effort.

You may be able to utilize IFTTT for this to automate it some.

Massplanner can automate a lot of this.
Playing around with it - great. Too bad I did not write this software :-)

This was the only skill I had as well when I started IM.

The same goes with other successful affiliates.

Just don't think of excuses and JUST DO IT.
