I don’t know the first thing about crypto. Set up a Coinbase account and ourchased a bit of btc a while back but that’s about it.
My question is, is it worth the time to learn about this market and how it’s used in 2023? I know that the feds are doing everything they can to chase down crypto related crime like fraud and money-laundering and have even started using Agi to help in this.
All what I have read on the subject indicates to me that all types of crypto in 2023 might not nearly be as ‘anonymous’ as people like to believe. There may have been a time when this was true, but it seems that time is may be coming to a close. Unless someone can prove otherwise that there are cryptos out there by inherent design that are and always will allow for optimal anonymity?
Considering the above, or based on your own personal experiences and thoughts - where do you feel everything regarding crypto is heading. Do you feel that it’s use and application will taper off in the next few years until it becomes obsolete or will it survivie and perhaps even flourish, esp there are potential new innovations im the field to look forward to, and hence hundred percent worth a newbs time to learn about?
