Heya, so in my last post i got the chance to work with white niche brand for the first time and it went great! Especially after reading some tips from here. Anyway i kinda got my 2nd client, but the website is from singapore! This is my first overseas client, so just wanna ask is there things i need to note when maintaining seo strategy from a specific country? I always based my strategy based on what the competitor does (backlink, content creation, social signal). No question asked of course i will focus my organic backlink from media or even local community there in Singapore. But beside that, is there anything i need to note for a oversea client? thanks!

It's just a simple thing we need to get , like when you're working with a client from another country, make sure to modify your SEO strategy to match what people in that country are interested in and how they search online, for eg: using their language, understanding their culture, and knowing which search engines they prefer

noted sir, thanks for the input. Will be sure to apply it

It is the same strategy as far as I can see. Linking usually doesn't have to be as heavy. Less spammy outside of the US. (assuming your in the states)

If you carefully check competitors and can get local links then it's enough for SEO but to sustain the client for long term, the language of the content you use onsite or in the backlinks is very important. Make sure that your client like the language by getting approval from client or get it written or reviewed by a native writer.

I agree, make sure you're culturally similar.

Of course, since the taste of search engines, user behaviors, and language peculiarities differ, local SEO strategies also may differ in countries. With this regard, it needs to focus on local backlinks in Singapore. Be on track very effectively by learning local slang and search terms.
