I'm running an automatic blog with over 19k unique articles, however, it's taking quite a while to get them crawled & indexed, having a decent internal link building would obviously help a lot but I'm not too sure if there's any that does this automatically. (Something like going over all existing posts and building internals links based on relevancy etc)

I do know some do it but you gotta set specific keywords etc, which is not happening since I have 19k+ articles and posting by the hundreds every day.

I used to use Linkify Text plugin. Worked perfect for me. I assume it’s still around

I had a look at linkify a few years ago but it totallly fucked one of my sites up.

Then I wrote my own plugin which linked to other articles based on tags (when it found the exact tag in the text, it'd link to an article under that tag). The plugin I wrote also proceded to totally fuck my sites up again.

So I just do it by hand now.

lmfao

I guess I'll just have to wait for the posts to get crawled even slowly. Oh well. SEO is a waiting game after all anyways

If your just looking for something for google to sink it's teeth into for crawling, YARPP is probably good enough

Search for your kw's and manually link the article texts. It'll gradually improve your internal structure.

I think the main problem with the automated solution is too many links showing up at once. Looks unnatural.

Thank you, I think this plugin will do the job. I was looking for something similar myself.

You are right but 19k articles sounds too much mannual work

I used to use Link Whisper, and I suppose it's a good choice because it's free.

It's a good choice if you don't have much time.

It's free, and if you don't really care about what your content is internally linking to, Link Whisper is as good as any other option to get this type of job done.

But if you're serious about maximizing your SEO potential, I'd steer clear of any automatic internal link builder.

Instead, I would manually interlink my content using calls to action.

So if one piece of content is related to another post that I've published, I would make my case why people should click on that link to view that older piece of content.

This way, people get a preview and a good reason to read that previous content.

This goes a long way in maximizing your dwell time and increasing your rankings over time.

For a similar blog, I use the Rank Math Instant Indexer plugin (free), and it works very well! In 2 automatic blogs, around 80% of articles are indexed (each article get indexed 1 or 2 days after publishing)

Try Link Whisper , It will automatic create your internal links, with your keywords

I'm using YARPP. It also supports custom post types!
