I am glad that you said you can put 2-3 hours per day into this. That means you understand that there is no 100% passive income method. You get to put in some effort especially in the beginning.
That said, I will suggest just two methods I have made money from.
One is Amazon Kindle publishing. You create and publish books (could be fiction or non fiction) which are sold on Amazon and you get a cut if sold. I had books that I created ,which paid me royalties for years. But you are not going to become rich overnight. It takes a lot of effort to create many books and keep the momentum going even when there is no sales. Also you have to know what books to publish that are likely to get sales.
Another one which I think is more passive is create a free ebook in PDF format e.g. Weight loss tips, or a title like How to lose 59 pounds in 2 months and populate this with your affiliate links (think supplements, ebooks, etc). And instead of selling the PDF, you drop them in high trafficked PDF sharing sites. People pick them up, read and click on the affiliate links to make purchases. Chang, you earn money. You job is to get over 100 PDFs into the sites and they will work as salesmen for you for years, banking you affiliate commissions.
The books, nothing fanciful. Can even be plr books with master resale rights. You can even put together 5 articles on weight loss and turn that into a PDF. Populate this with your affiliate links. The book can be on any topic, but make sure to solve a particular problem. Think money, health or relationship.
I once created an ebook on how to get MLM leads from a particular site and gave that away. That single book me made me a few hundreds of dollars monthly from people who picked it up, signed up free with the site and when they upgraded to a paid account, made me money. The average months as paid customers was three, meaning I made passive commissions from those free sign ups that converted monthly for three months on average.
I had to stop the work when I found bet exchange trading. This one is completely active income and not passive. But I love it!
