Is There An Explanation or Theories For This Recent Pattern ?

So, I've noticed a surge in channels lately with extremely scarce content, yet they're gaining a significant number of views and subscribers within their initial few videos.

This trend seems to be prevalent throughout the platform, some of you OGs might have plausible explanations or deeper insights, beyond my own theories ?

Highlight : It's highly unlikely that it is boosted growth.

Have this question in my mind from so many years . I believe they have other channels where they boost new video in their end screen of their popular video from other channel . Or they drive traffic to playlist where new video is included

The big social media companies keep setting their algorithms (on an ongoing basis), to keep feeding Gen-Z with nonsense and infact Gen-Z loves nonsense and hence, this is the latest trend.

It's becoming more and more regular now, as if there has been an algorithm change or someone has opened Pandora's box for large group of people!

End screens from an external channel do not work, to my knowledge. However, playlist and/or description co-promotion could be an option, although I suspect that some of the channels I have seen have no other big channels and are newbie editors

An algorithm change is a very plausible explanation. However, it seems like there are still some old blockages, as if it's not an open season for everyone! Interestingly...

Here is my theory: I was thinking, perhaps since the YouTube algorithm usually randomly boosts some channels more than others, they are creating X number of channels and uploading 2 to 3 videos on each, selecting the channel that the algorithm favors.

Because there's no way that so many new channels are hitting jackpot from the first ticket. It doesn't seem like it's an across-the-board type of algorithm change or something that can be easily duplicated.

So, it is a puzzle
