is there a WYSIWYG editor for FBML?

As far as I know, there is not a wysiwyg editor for fbml however, you can use the facebook test console to trial and error your fbml code.
The key word there is "most". The problem is that if there is anything at all that FBML does not like, it hides the whole page.

you will never found the fbml wysiwyg editor, i suggest you to hire the facebook owner to make it. LOL

no such thing as fbml wysiwyg editor hire some one and get the work done. if your idea is good you will make much more money then you spend so why to worry

There was a post here from a scumbag YAIROPIA. He suggested we go to facebook and type in "fbml editor".
I edited my post because the mods removed his post and hopefully him. Anyway, don't download any fbml editors from facebook or anywhere else without doing a VT scan.

I don't think there's anything wrong with pagemodo but everyone's looking for a wysiwyg editor that they don't have to pay monthly for.
Honestly i have been involve in custom fanpage for few years now, but i have never use any editor as i prefer to type everything manually in the FBML Apps itself...weird right?

Anyway there is no such thing as FBML editor just yet. But all the coding are 99% similar to HTML, so i would suggest you to use Coffee Cup HTML Editor and do some tweak after that.
The tweak that you need to do is only to remove this code <html></html> <head></head><script></script> or maybe just copy paste the code from <body></body> only......and dont forget to add the URL for your images.
This trick works fine for my 'student' till today
