I am going to some sites that a load of their links simply redirect to other pages

I can find out the links by hovering over the link before I click it but is there anyway to see what the code is one the page? I mean I will have the links url details but nothing else.

Most of the time they are php files but sometimes they are html files

It simply does a redirect and then takes me to my destination but I want to know what is happening before I am shunted off

    is this possible??

    oscar....

Just slow down your internet connection & click the link, hit cancel while the redirecting site is loaded (and then view source and see your pretty javascript redirect with firefox).

This is what I do ... try to cancel before the redirect ...

It's like a hand eye coordination / speed test.

A nice tool to see where those links are going is Live HTTP:

keep in mind that if it's a php redirect page, it could be doing any number of things behind the scenes. Just viewing the source won't tell you everything.
