Is there a way to completely hide a profile on Facebook?

in instagram there is an option to temporary disable account, maybe there is also such option in fb?

Disable your account and it won't be found. It'll still be there but not searchable. It comes back alive if you log in again.
But if you're still using the account, it's not possible to be active /logged in and totally invisible.

fb dont have any such options.and i believe there is no hacks to hide it.

I have looked at the various privacy settings and I couldn't find a way to hide it from the Facebook search results. I will be using the account and creating pages through it so I need the account to be active. From the responses so far it seems like there is no way to get the profile hidden from Facebook search results.

I had a friend that kept disabling his facebook each time he d log out. You could find the account name in google searh but when you clicked on it it brought back an error that the account doesn t exist. Maybe do that?

I just checked that feature has been removed. Apparently you can't hide it from facebook search by name. However you can hide it from other search engines and prevent users from searching your profile using your email and phone number

You can use a shortened version of your name and never post anything on the personal account. It'll be very unlikely to bump into you by accident.

Yup, I have made the changes in privacy settings to hide it from search engines. For Facebook search results I guess I'll just have to let it be the way it is.
I guess I'll have to do that since there's no other way to hide the account from Facebook search for now.

use a name where people wont be able to find you
