Is there a Twitter bot that Automatically detects trending #topics and posts my content there

I've been looking for this for a long time but most twitter bots i've seen including beast like JV seem to require you to manually feed in the hashtags to them. So every so often I have to browse trends24.in to find hashtags to target.

I want a way to automate this. The visibility boost would be monstrous.

Define "trending"?

On the twitter website, twitter will show you "trending topics for your area". Do you mean these? If so, yes it is possible to scrape the trending endpoint and use that in your searches.

If mean some convoluted way to detect trends before they go viral, it becomes more difficult. But anything is possible if you can describe it a set of steps / states that must occur for you to term it "trending"

I guess that he wants to receive immediate notifications about trends in his area.

Yes its very possible. Im not sure if there is public software that does this though.

Then that is simple. The location of your country is set in the twitter settings, then you scrape the trends endpoint that returns the trending tags for that location.

You used to be able to specify a specific location to the endpoint and get trends for various countries, but twitter changed it and you have to set the account country and can only get those trends now

No, trends can only be scraped by country (that I am aware).

Basically, if you can get this information from the website, then it can be scraped by a bot. If it doesn't exist there, then twitter do not provide.

Perhaps if you have access to the twitter firehose, you can do some self determination to find trends, but that is not available to your typical BHW member / bot

Make sure your tweets are related to the hashtags. Just using a hashtag to ride on the trend for exposure usually results in bans.
