Doesnt ever go down and can use for long period of time?
I want one I can just plug into utorrent and use for downloads.
Suggestions?

Sure there are proxies like the type you're looking for. More often than not, those types of proxies have been set up by the person who intends to use them from another location.

For example, sets up a proxy at his office and uses it for whatever he needs. If someone can find a way to keep a proxy running in stealth mode on a library computer that much the better.

I have seen plenty of great deals available right here in BHW where you can purchase X amount of proxies for use with different software or just for browsing downloading.

The thing is that those are private proxies and you've got to pay if you wanna play.

If utorrent don't have built-in support for SOCKS5 proxy, you're going to need proxifier tool for windows and private or shared SOCKS5 proxy. If uturrent use UDP as well (i have no idea about that), then you cannot use a proxy for this software because UDP traffic will not be anonymized through the proxy.

A VPN is what you need if uturrent use both TCP/UDP .

PS. Proxies eventually go down but if you need guarantee of uptime, you should go with shared or private proxy provider listed here.

Thank you very much for both of those replies.

Basically I just need to be invisible, so to speak, or at least seem as somone that I am not. hence looking for a proxy. If a VPN can do that for me then that would be perfect. The only thing is that I am extremely unfamiliar with VPNs and so if someone could send me somewhere for me to learn about them other then general googling that would be great. Or if someone could just briefly lemme know about them here that would be great too.

Thanks again for any help, its very appreciated.

I use Squid Proxies. They are private proxies and I haven't changed or have had to update to new ones for over 6 months.

hello can i have a question... a private proxy is better than socks5 proxy ???

Private proxies can by most any kind of proxy you can think of with the caveat being that they are not openly available to the general public. So you're paying for the use of a proxy that hasn't been abused by hundreds, if not thousands, of people before you got to it.

Generally, that is why Private Proxies are at a premium.

Why not just use peerblocker or something, and filter out all of the spies? There are no proxies out there which accept downloading of torrents as far as I know.

There is always a way to track your breadcrumbs on the internet, even with private proxies.

Thank for your answer , can i have another question ? Im looking for many many proxy like sock5 proxy. .. so how i can get that ? Also proxies then socks5 proxy then private proxy right is best ?

Seems to me your best bet is using several proxies linked to each other. There are a
number of tutorials on bhw that show how to do this. Search button as always. After 4 or 5 proxies and strung together the possibility of tracking you become slim to none but never say never.

vpn / ssh tunneling might be the best bet if you're looking for a reliable, long-term, multi-app solution...

how to setup VPN on Win XP:
Code:
http://compnetworking.about.com/od/windowsxpnetworking/ss/newvpnconnect.htm
just google for guides if you have another OS

free VPN service:
Code:
http://real-vpn.com/
p2p is only allowed on the NL server (nl.real-vpn.com), i'm not using it myself, i guess it's not that fast, because it's free
you'll get a username and password after registration, you need these to connect to the VPN what you setup with the steps above

you may need a paid service like StrongVPN (or Ipredator, TPB's own VPN service), but you need to check their TOS before subscribing, because some of them are not allowing p2p

its called a vpn

or a proxy setup on a remote server just for a specific user
