Is there a proxy checker you guys use? Scrapebox is kinda slow

There was a tool that's been around for years but I can't remember it or find it - anyways any help appreciated.

I just find SB too slow - perhaps there is a tool someone can suggest? Thanks!

Yes! Proxyfire

Change settings to Threads=1000 Use lib: No. Timeout =3 seconds.

Hi,

You can try: proxyipcheckerdotcom

It allows testing proxies using HTTP request (Curl in php) and have a live response.

Scrapebox is to slow?

I've not seen a faster proxy checker personally.

your probably right - i just never tried another service - i just figurered that SB was not a pure-play proxy checker so there might be faster solutions out there....

To test proxies, recently I srated using proxyfire and it seems ok

Are you running both the goog and anon test in sbox, or just the anon test? Running both will increase the testing time because it's doing two test passes (is worth it if you need to scrape or interact with goog, but if not, just run the anonymity test). As mentioned by GaryBecks, sbox's proxy tester is pretty fast. Proxyfire + Charon is really good too.

I use and recommened Proxy Multiply.
You can harvest proxies and test them. Additional you can assign for which you want to use the proxies.
