Is there a plugin to auto publish posts at random intervals?

I have searched and searched and I still can't find what I'm looking for. Maybe I don't know what the correct search term is to find this info. I hope that someone here can help.

Problem: I receive posts from UAW and via email from another source daily that I want to publish on my blog . However, I do not want to publish them all at the same time. I do want to spread the posts out in a random way during a specific block of time - let's say during typical working hours such as 9 am to 5 pm.

Currently, I have the posts set to arrive in 'pending approval' mode. From there I have to change all of the posts to draft, then edit each individual post to select a specific time for publication on that day.

I schedule the posts to go live in a random sort of way - not every 5 minutes or anything so predictable. For instance, one post will go at 10 am and then next post will go at 10:22 am, then 10:31 am, then say 11:02 am and so on.

Is there a plugin that will take all of these posts that I receive every day and do this automatically? I was hoping that this particular blog would be be a 'set it and forget it' type of blog. Is there any automated solution?

I found a couple of plugins on my own but they did not work the way I wanted.

    Any ideas?

I also have the same problem here.
How I dealt with it is that I kept scheduling the posts manually for like 5 days then I autoaccepted the articles.

Thanks for letting me know that I'm not alone. I was also auto-accepting the posts but I didn't like they way they were all instantly published. I wanted to spread them out over the course of a day.

I just spent another chunk of my afternoon searching for a solution but I'm still coming up empty.

Thanks wickedguy - I had previously installed the drafts-scheduler plugin. It is not a perfect match but it is my best option so far. I'll have another look at it to see if I can work something out.

My articles do not get delivered to me as drafts - they come in as either pending approval or they are published immediately. So, I still need to go in every day and change all of the articles from pending approval to draft mode and then activate the drafts scheduler plugin. This is less work than tyring to manually schedule each and every post every day though.

Maybe there is something that I can work out with WinAutomation or something similar to get this job done automatically. I'm a novice with WinAutomation though. Guess I'd better get to it. :hmmmm2:
