I think it's a mix of both, to be honest. While technical skills are essential, having an artistic eye and being inspired by others can really take your work to the next level. What I'd love to know is, how do you guys find inspiration for your projects - do you follow any specific designers, artists, or blogs that spark new ideas? If you aim to educate it would be best to create udemy courses and use pinterest in order to bring traffic to them. So yes there is a place for educational content on pinterest.
