I'm currently using Xenu Sleuth to look for expired domains and exporting them to Excel to clean them up. But it's still really difficult to clean them up when you're dealing with thousands of links.

    By cleaning, I mean:
    • Removing the sub domains
    • Removing text after the .com
    • Removing duplicate domains

I was wondering if there are any tools that can do this for me?
    Thanks.

    1. Use Excel formulas.
    2. If that doesn't cut it and you know a programming language, write a script.

I found a link tool after a lot of searching that costs only $6. Pm me if anyone wants the link.

You can do it all with Scrapebox (trim to root/remove duplicates) and Notepad++ (bookmark subdomain lines>deleted lines with bookmarks).

As rogerke said, scrapebox is the all purpose one you probably already own. Gscraper also does the same if you use that instead.

Almost every question starting with "is there a tool that..." can be answered with a "Scrapebox".

Exactly, Scrapebox can do this and everything else you can probably think of. Don't waste time on Excel formulas when you can do the same thing with Scrapebox in seconds.
