Is there a killer build linking/site ranking strategy out there that will get your on the first page of google? Please share your experience and techniques with the newbie and I would like to thank you all in advance.

Everybody has his own strategies, I suppose that if somebody will share - it won't be effective.

I wouldn't suggest link exchanges - they were good about 5 years ago.

I use wordpress for my site and some pinging sites. Creating fresh and quality content gives me a lot of backlinks from reputed sites, who republish my articles. So, as the old says, content is king.
