Two of my websites which got affected in previous update are kind of recovering now in just one month. Is there some new update from Google this month?

It’s normal. If any real site gets affected by any Google update, it will recover after one or two month(s).

Is it related to ranking of blogs or you talking about playstore?

That's not always true.
For example YMYL update in 2019(?) permanently nuked thousands of legit sites just because Google felt like it, nothing breaking the rules.
In every updates, many genuine sites will be affected. It cannot be 100% effective.

I track over 500 websites (my personal websites + clients). Yes, Sunday night into Monday, there was more movement than usual. Almost all positive for the websites I track.

Hope you got your keywords up again, its just dance when the update hits. New update won't be long either get your ranking high or could be diversified but won't take long.
