Is there a Google Update? Again!!

None of my site is noticing an obvious change that's strong enough to suggest the presence of an update. But from late last week to mid this week, there was delays on the data reported by GSC, which many claimed such delays usually precedes an update.
So, I won't be surprised if there's one lurking around the corner. We'll just have to give it a few days to see what Google has to say.

The graph is showing volatility, and volatility doesn't always mean an update, and that's why I am asking others.

See that graph went up to "Very High" but no update on May at all. Volatility means nothing, just some extra random metrics created out of nowhere to keep those SEO blogs active to post something every now and then.

I saw some crazy shit with 2 keywords in the exact same category, then the SERPs were back to normal. So yes, something is happening. Not sure if it is an update or not. My site got wiped out and unrelated stuff was showing, then it all came back and I'm ranked #2 again for that keyword.

Hey, I want to ask for some quick advice. Thanks in advance. I see that you are also suffering from the same problem I am (very low CTR). You think this will improve after our site is aged a bit and start ranking on top positions for ranking keywords?

This is not true. AI will have zero impact on SEO.
More than 90% of the keywords need the updated results on the serp page. It can't be achieved through AI as of now. There will be no significant changes in SEO for the next 3 years at least.

CTR does not improve with age
We have to have few things in place like catchy titles and schema markup. In my case I have installed schema for this site to deal with this and hope to see some positive results in coming few weeks. My team is also working on the content part and hope to see some gains soon.Coming back to the topic, I shared this screenshot because the topic of talk in this thread was Google updates in last month, and I thought to share this jump in the impressions which might be the result of the updates.

Sites must evolve over time. For each evolution, it seems you have to offer something extra. As I've always said, this kind of specialization is positive for SEO professionals, because personally I find that every day it seems easier to access SEO world, but at the same time I find it way more difficult to stay day. In fact I perma-struggling with it.

Well, we can start new sites but then also diversify the traffic source. And AI still needs sources to vomit information to the end user, and in the future it sure need to give citations.
