Is there a Google+ Autofollow Bot or other helpful software ?

I want to boost my google+ page. In order to do so, I want to follow people of communities of my niche, hoping that they follow me back.

The manual following process is brain-melting. Is there any software that can automate the process ? I fumbled around with imacros but I can't get it to work. But I'm noob so maybe it's possible ?

Do you know any other helpful software ? A google search showed some nice Chrome plugins that help unfollowing people who do not follow back. Anything else you can recommend ?

That would be nice, perhaps a browser based app that notifies you and allows you to bulk "circle" back people.
