Is there a faster way than analytics?

This is just a quick question, I know it's probably been answered before but the search button aint helpin me here . I just need to see what a certain traffic source is to my website. I am aware that analytics does this but I think it takes a hell-of-a long time to update. Is there a way to get this information right away? (as in in an hour or less), or do I have to wait like the whole day? Thanks.

Think they have a free version - or at least a 30 day trail to see if its what you are looking for

check out any of the analytics stuff that you install on your own server, like piwik

I feel odd running too many google applications on any of my sites.

www.statcounter.com - been using this for years and loving it! Never tried others though.
