Is there a CMS designed for product review sites?

Hi Folks,

I am setting up a product review website but would rather not use Worldpress.

Are there any CMS products out there that are tailored for review type websites? For example, something that is designed to hold a database of products along with review for the products.

Note: I am going to be the one writing the reviews, it is not a crowdsourced review site.

Why not WordPress? It's perfect for this

Having used WP in the past I find it bloated and cumbersome to be honest. If I could find a tailor made CMS that would be cool.

I guess, I could go with Wordpress for the MVP. Do you know of any templates / plugins for this type of site?

Rehub or price compare templates can be good for that type of website.

90% review websites are using Wordpress which works fine for that.

I would personally recommend price compare, if you customize it a bit you can get very fast and responsive website which will affect user's experience positively

Ok looks good guys..

Question - with these templates. How can I manage the products being compared. For example. I want to review products and services for my niche and provide ratings + overview etc.

How is this done in the backend?

EDIT: Does anybody know of any templates where I get raw HTML / CSS alongside (or instead) of WP theme?

For comparing you can find some nice plugins just search for 'comparison table'
