Is there a Big G update again?

Google has to update a lot know over the new speech search function.

Old days are well gone, where your position height in Google for long time.

You might be page 1 but tomorrow page 10 it the way it is now over speech algo.

The more advance speech indexing get and needed the more websites will get affected.

The old google algo gone the new speech algo moving forward fast and hard.

Google whole page the way adverts and indexing is shown is all being redesigned google only want the best info on page 1.

Off course there always be crap from time to time on page 1.

The good old days are slowly fading away.

It looks like the SEMrush sensor is showing a 5.0 for today so stuff is definitely mixing it up.

I had a feeling something was going on when I put in a new page and within a few hours for my main term I would be at #17 one minute and the next minute I'm at #1 and then I'm at #8. It's a longtail but that is some crazy fluctuation. One of my sites did jump by more than 50% for impressions in GSC although clicks went up maybe a few percent (and that includes a new page I just put out).

I have the feeling we'll have to wait for the dance to settle down to see what is really going on.
 
it was so nice, my affiliate page was on the first site for some hours and now shit happens, they shoot me back
 
The tweet from John Mu made me laugh: "I don't have all the details yet, but it seems like this was a glitch on our side and has been fixed in the meantime. If someone could fix the other 2020-issues, that would be great."
 
It looks like another major Google algorithm update is now rolling out or can be a temporary bug also.

They didn't mess up anything. Like all corporations, google is a whore. Whoever pays them the most are getting their traffic. Gone are the days when mere mortals like myself could make money through google by writing a couple of articles and submitting them to EzinerArticles.com

In 2010 I had 3 websites ranking in google and making me adsense money with only backlinks and traffic from EZA. Since then I have never ranked a single website anymore, even though I have tried with all sorts of websites (ecommerce, content based, blogs, digital products) but without putting too much money into ranking them because I had no money to invest.

Nowadays, to rank in google you either are a fortune 500 company or have a budget of $500-1000 / month at the very minimum to spend on SEO.
 
It's like talking about "Water is wet." There is almost every week some updates.
 
I think it has to do with the election. Google is going to try and take down Trump at all cost. I don't even think they care about the money they will lose in the process. They are going all out because when Trump wins Google is going down big time.
 
I have the impression it is a pretty big update this time. It is moving in all directions for all my websites.
I first thought it was because of my new backlinks but I realized tons of keywords were moving.
Big authoritative websites seem to be the winners again. EMDs seem to get a bonus too with the update.
 
Google Update every 3-5 weeks nowadays. I wonder if this is just what we can expect from G moving forward or if there has just happened to be a ton of big ones over the last few months.
 
Dropped drastically on my tracking tool, but actual search results via Google remain the same as previous. Wondering which is more updated... Lol
 
Interestingly, the semrush sensor has been showing 9.2 and 9.4 for the 15th and 16th.
