I keep triggering the moderator system, so I'll just say this:

1. I setup a blog a few days ago--1 blog post so far.

2. I received an offer from someone on DP for fifty dollars.

3. I was planning on selling this site for a lot more on flippa

4. Do people usually buy sites with just a good design and some good content? I agreed that if he bought the site, I would write 5 more blog posts, but still.

5. The domain is new, and it has no traffic.

6. Is there any long-term money in quick flips like this?

Thanks!

I would sell for more than $50 personally that isn't much money for a site, espesically if design and some time has went into it. Backlinks / articles / content / optimization can add up in time spent. It's best IMHO to build the site up a little bit then you can flip for more.

I've never flipped for 100k or anything but my best flip was 18k it was a PR5 domain in the DUI niche too

If someone is willing to offer $50 for a brand new site that has NO traffic and only 1 article the chances are he is after the domain name and not the website itself. Is it an EMD?

I would recommend that you monetize from the site and when it starts generating good monthly revenue, just put it on flippa for sale.
