Is the proxy taken into account when using the reddit API?

Hi everyone, so I've been running some accounts through the official reddit api for some while and haven't been getting a problem. The thing is one of them got banned and I switched, warmed up with a browser + residential proxy and hooked it up to my server creating a new app on that account. It worked wonderfully for 5 days until it got banned just today. It's for an OF model I manage and I make sure never to use the same pics, new linktree etc. What might've happened? Does the reddit API also take into account the IP of the server sending the requests?
