Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone else has used the official wordpress stats plugin and if you have found it accurate or not?

I started an auto blog that posts Amazon products two days ago and the plugin shows only 23 unique vists yesterday but on my amazon affiliate page it shows I had 118 unique clicks on the products.. Surely this is not right? The visits to the site shpown in the plugin should be much higher than the products clicks??

I don't really like statcounter, I want something that integrates with my blog admin panel and just wondering if the wordpress stats plugin is accurate, as it seems to of missed visits unless the amazon info is incorrect.

wordpress stats counter is not reliable w/Amazon. I have an integrated store in one of my blogs and its never accurate. Blog integration with a Facebook page makes it ever so more unreliable. I use Google Analytics mostly and of course Awstats and Webalizer on the server are a better judge than wp stats. Server stats the best, but is a pain logging in frequently to just check stats.

Ok thanks for your input. I may install statpress as I found that a little better last time I used it but thought I would try out the official plugin as it is less strain on server.

The official statscounter is pretty good. I'm using it and it's accurate. Google Analytics is also really great but it doesn't integrate with the admin panel, so it might not be what you want.

I'm not finding the wrodpress stat counter accurate at all, for example there are over 20 people online at my blog right now and the plugin shows that I have had less visits than that over the whole day.
