Hey guys, one of my websites constantly received clicks from "Fremont, California, United States, Linode", every half an hour in past three days.

I am wondering if it is a spam bot attack? how to stop it from my wp dashboard?

thanks

Linode is a cloud services that allow you to host your bot or websites or RDP like Digitalocean.
and there is someone who spy on you or one of your KW competitor and you can block them by improve your website firewall with WAF or by wordfence
https://www*cloudflare*com/waf/
by the way what you're using to analytic your website clicks?

thanks for the helpful reply, and I already enabled the firewall on CF.

I am using Statcounter to track everything. THANKS

check my website this morning, but still found this bot hit my website every half an hour.

I already enabled the firewall on CF and installed Wordfence to block its IP, BUT WHY just can't stop this bot?

Does anyone have a similar situation? thanks

why not to try block this bot from your wordfence dashboard manually

Use Cloudflare to show JS challenge to those user agents and IP addresses.
JS challenge won't completely block the request, so just in case they are human, they can still go through.

thanks u guys for the helpful reply.
Yeah, this bot hit has just gone but not sure if my firewall and ip blocks do work, tbh
