For the past 24 hours or so, I have been experiencing the forum page load being extremely heavy or time consuming.

The homepage loads fine, but clicking on a thread makes the page wait for 4-5 seconds before it proceeds to load the page. Same for different forums.

I tried to isolate the issue by -

- Trying a different device
- Tried switching from my normal ISP to 5G Mobile data on two different networks
- Tried activating a VPN to ensure it wasn't a routing/DNS error at my end.

But the problem still seems to occur.

My ISP remains the same. Everything else is accessible. Can still stream in 4K. Latency is minimal on all speedtests.

I am used to the forum being pretty zippy. So this change in the speed and the lag was very noticable.

Is someone else facing the same issue? Or I have specially been selected by the Internet Gods with a "F you in particular" situation going on?

When posting the above thread, it was stuck on the above page for a good 6-7 seconds before the thread loaded. Enough time for me to take a screenshot.

Yes, it can be a bit slow from time to time, my latency is also ok on my ISP.

Yes, I always thought it was my own problem, but I didn't expect it was his own problem. These days, I always refresh very slowly, and sometimes I can't refresh at all.

Thanks for letting us know.
Upon investigation, some of the Cloudflare data centres appear to have had an issue, so some of you may have seen decreased speeds in specific areas depending on Cloudflare routing.
These issues are now fixed and you should be back to normal speeds.
This is reflected in our public status page, which shows a small increase in page load times.
If you continue to experience slow access to the forum, please raise a support ticket, ideally with a screen recording of what you're experiencing, a speed check, and your IP. Then, we can look into this for you.
