Is the craze for YouTube on decline?

I see that most of the creators are realizing that there is too much competition on YouTube now. And they have understood that it is no more a reliable me this and chances of success are less. So is there a decline in craze of youTube now?

Youtube has alienated a lot of content creators with constantly changing algorithms and community guidelines. A vast swath of creators over the past 1-2 years have seen their channels terminated with mostly no recourse. Competition is fierce and views have declined for the platform and its no accident. Ads have also become longer and annoying AF. I think youtube's better days are behind them so this is why I've moved to other platforms like tik tok, rumble, dailymotion, odyssey and others. Youtube has become its own worst enemy IMO.
 
In my opinion youtube craze not declined , it is now more compitative and hard to get monetization.
 
No, there is no long form competitor for YouTube, we don't have any serious alternative for long form content, there is no reason to decline

I’ve noticed that too! Feels like a lot of creators are diversifying to other platforms now. YouTube’s still huge, but it definitely doesn’t feel as easy to break through as it once was.
 
Problems of YouTube
You don't need 10M short views or 4000 hours of long videos viewing (you need them "valid" according to the dark criteria of YouTube). YouTube is shaving like hell and that means you surely need the double of the original quantity
YouTube is not yet for quality videos (if you need a week for all the process of creation of a video better quit YouTube. Why? Because YouTube gives priority to creators that are able to upload content more often, if daily, the best, unless the quality of their content is no excellent)
Due to YouTube is now running for quantity the profit by video has decreased (the times that 4 videos a month give you visits and revenue enough for having a side income are over)
Consum habits has changed and everyday the number of people that only consum YouTube content in vertical and from mobile increase
 
no, I still see people are making tons of gold from YouTube, Now people are not giving much effort to make quality contents nowadays I see people dropping AI sh**ts which doesn't get real value at all and quickly gets behind very fast and realize YouTube Declined You.

high quality will always get noticed and will start growing
 
No it’s getting worse. 500 shitty channels pop up everyday. Probably more. Eventually they will give up and the YTA hype will die down just like dropshipping did 10 years ago. Another “get rich quick” method will emerge. Just have to stick it out long enough. YT has never been a “get rich quick” method. It’s only recently being marketed that way so you’ll buy some shitty course.

The hypes not what it used to be. Too many channels, too much similar content its harder to stand out now. People are shifting to short form stuff like tiktokor reels because its quicker to grow there.
 
That reality check had to come sooner or later. It happens in any job field. Like there was craze for administrative jobs because it came with power but now less people show interest in them because of so many complications.

Now using AI tools you can clone every successful video/niche

Doing it is not going to give you enough views and revenue, but is going to drestoy the original channel traction

YES.
Copying kills originality and floods the niche. Viewers can tell whats genuine, and that’s what keeps a channel growing.

YouTube is still popular, but the competition has increased a lot. It used to be easy to grow a channel, but now it is difficult. Quality of content, regularity, and niche selection are very important for new creators to get views and growth.
 
There are so many wanna-be creators and AI creators out there, that each and every platform is more than saturated. Some cream can still sometimes rise to the top, but it's hard. So I wouldn't say the craze is over by any means.
 
Even though theres a lot of competition, unique or specialized content can still find an audience on youtube. Some creators are seeing steady growth by exploring niches that arent overcrowded yet.
 
Standing out on youtube now is tougher, but channels that bring original ideas or strong personalities still manage to grow steadily.
 
YouTube isn’t declining; it’s just harder to stand out. Creators now need better niches, stronger hooks, and smarter content, not sheer volume.
