Is it better to wait 2 months after new year to start advertising?

I would suggest to wait upto mid of Jan or of you want to test then try with minimal budget.

why would you? Don't know about your target audience but keep in mind not everybody across the world celebrates Christmas on the same day.
Some countries do it on the first week of January, meaning they could still be interested in your product by early January.

it's too expensive. CPMs are too high and dropshipping products has become over saturated. try something else
This statement is false and you are delusional to think that. You are just writing this because you got a hate relationship with dropshipping business model.

Please stop posting in every dp thread that It doesn't work because you failed to make good money those opinions are worthless and based on your own failure

To make the most of your budget, I would wait till the holidays are over.

If you have a decent marketing budget, no point waiting too long. You could start collecting data already (by starting your ads) and see what's what, and use the data you've collected to make decisions going forward.

Also, Apple's new privacy policy WILL affect all iOS users on Facebook for example, and the repercussions of that; well, we won't know until the new changes go into effect.

forget about dropship + facebook ads. it's done

i have a friend that's been trying it for 3 years now. he is STILL failing to this day. running facebook ads to a store and STILL negative roi. i keep telling him that dropship with ads does not work anymore but he doesn't listen.

probably he will keep losing money for another 3 more years. waste of time too

i'm sorry guys, but sometimes you just have to wake up to it. i know it's hard if you have dedicated everything to dropship, but you need to start taking off the rose colored glasses

it's that time guys. really. no more fairy tales, no more flashing shopify sales numbers. take an honest look at the climate, and you tell me if it's still possible with FB ads + dropship

Always depends on the niche. If it's evergreen then you're going to see good engagement. E-commerce is the worst in general retail until around February. Even then, you will get people burning your ROAS.
