Is TEMU a scam or not?

I've heard a lot of news that it's a scam website where they will gather up your info if you use their app or website? I signed up temu for about a week ago cause I was fascinated from the low offers and free gifts they have but after knowing it I deleted my account and app cause it's kinda sketchy.

My wife took the bait of ordering some stuff with freebies and yes, they do deliver but the quality of the items are just plain crap.

Would just go with AliExpress and do your research.

For shoes buy on Amazon.
For phones but on AliExpress.
For clothes but locally.
Anything that you drop for being a idiot buy locally as international may not have warranty.


For selling as a drop shipper is competitive, before drop shipping only needed a 16 year old clicking on share referral links, and using that money to buy the a product and sell it, then use their money to buy it that you never had as a middle man.

Now it's saturated(but you're not listening) because if you were you'd have built your herminapolich brand doing exactly this.

Anyways AliExpress is the no brainer it's Alibaba direct from china.

My last scam on Alibaba was 2011 for not understanding a iPhone for $120 is not real where all the touch inputs were scripted from a Nokia, god it kept making clown photos and only had 2 ring tones that could not be deleted.

You can still experience this but with research no.

It is a scam. They send you plastic that looks like what you bought. But the fact something has looks of a shoe, doesn't really mean it should be classified as such.

These products aren't real. They're like the cheapest possible imitations made of cheapest possible material and very small amount of those materials using techniques that simply make themselves break on contact with any other physical structures.

I buy lots of electronics parts and related parts and some tools from Ali.
No problems so far.

If I can get locally one pieso buzzer with 1$ and from Ali I can buy 30 pieces for 4$ (3 different types, 10 pieces).

Then obviously I buy from ali.
It's a long story.
You just have to know what you buy and what quality to expect.


No plans to open Temu account.

TEMU is basically an FU to western businesses that buy / bought from China.

I would avoid it out of principle personally.

As far as ‘scams’ go, TEMU’s parent company is shady to say the least

Reminds me of that Wish App, which I ordered from and the package arrived 6 months later from some foreign customs place.
