Is TBS still worth it after penguin?

Spinners are still worth it, as long as it is use wisely and appropriately. On the other hand, auto-generated spinning would be worthless, although you can submit it to auto-approved sites/directories but it won't pass on non-auto-approved directories.

I actually have TBS and SpinChimp and both are helpful in creating quality and manually spun articles. Although others may say, it's still better and much quicker to write all articles from scratch, but I'd still prefer using these spinners.

Not a good thing to do. Better you continue what you're doing while figuring out what's going and what to do.

I really don't understand this question. TBS is a tool that helps you create spun text.. You don't have to generate 1 click crappy articles. If you spin everything manually you are able to deliver very high quality unique articles. So.. your question doesn't make any sense @OP.

Well, I've heard people spin at multiple levels using TBS... and then remove synonyms that just don't make sense from the spintax (the manual part). That's more of what I meant -- use the spinner to help you out but read it over manually to make sure it all makes sense. I'm hoping to find a good guide for TBS lying around somewhere that will help me ULTRA spin articles (with a little bit of manual work).

How about manually create your synonym list first? Choose the safe, generic ones that won't give you any problems.

I'm not sure if that site is the best indicator of readability. I just put in the CNN website and got a grade reading level of -8, which should be understood by kids in the age range of -2 to -3... not quite sure how that works lol

One click crappy atricles have always been the lazy approach anyway, there usefulness was obviously limited. The TBS is still a great tool for creating readable quality spun articles, it just takes a bit of work. If your unwilling to put the effort in to create better content then good luck succeeding

Absolutely. At the end of the day, it's just a software.

I'd not like to out any sites but the ones that are ranking in my niches all have what looks like scraped and heavily spun content, totally irrelevant blocks put together. I'm not saying that's the way to go though.

With spinning, the key is to put in enough time and effort to create a spun article that can produce a decent number of unique articles. Those that have 2 variations of a sentence aren't spun well, of course. That was the lazy approach a few months ago and is a lazy approach right now. In the last week, my team has written more than 40 articles spun using TBS and spun really, really well. It's just something that makes you work a tad easier.
