Is taking a PHP course worth it?

I was thinking about squeezing this in my schedule since i've started my endeavors here.

If you have the time to sit down and really focus on learning it then it would be ideal. Why pass up on another language you can get under your belt?

It depends on how much money do you have and how much time you can grant for learning and focusing on a course. I recommend to not waste your money on courses and start learning by yourself with forums,stackoverflow and some tutorials from indieresoucers,piratebay . After and you know the basics (and more) than you can give money for a course which gives you certification and helps you to find a job or clients ( if you want to go on freelancing ) . Starting buying courses on lynda/tutsplus and other sites like this can get you frustration and make you think that you waste your money and you learned nothing .
