Is supremseo safe?

They require you to install a custom chrome plugin that you must enable development mode on the browser tools to use. This sounds super risky to me considering chrome plugins can access cookies and private data. Anyone able to weigh in as to whether this chrome plugin is going to suck up all my private data?
