Over the years I have ran different technology blogs which one after the other failed woefully.
But, tech is my thing, I enjoy talking and writing about new smartphones, laptops and other gadgets, I love breaking down their new features and analysing their existence and competition among different tech companies. So, coming up with blog posts wasn't my problem then but getting traffic somehow was my very biggest problem and that was how each technology blog ended up as a failure. The last one went up for 2+ years and I had to abandon it so as to create more time for my freelancing endeavour becausebills got to be paid.
I have been a BHW member all these while but it was just few months ago that I became active. I have gone through several guides and journeys from different people and I have seen the reasons why my tech blogs failed woefully, things like not doing keyword research the right way, not promoting enough in the right places and not publishing articles that people are actually searching for, instead I was publishing articles that I feel people are interested in.
With the knowledge I have gained while being active on BHW I think I am ready to go back to blogging but myself is still pointing me towards technology niche. On seeing the competition out there with detailed and lengthy posts on almost all the topics thinkable even the long tail keywords, is starting a baby tech blog now among these giants worth it?
