is spamhaus meaningless?

Hey, as the title suggest, is the spamhaus blacklist meaningless when it comes to ranking?

All it takes is to host your domains website on lyra/alexhost or frankly any dmca-ignored host or even adult accepted ones to get you on the blacklist.

I have a domain that's very slowly ranking upwards even though it's on the blacklisted ip range and the website itself has a hit.

Is this something of the past? Should I raise tickets to get domains removed from there ? Or it's not worth the effort as its as useless as moz spam score?

so it doesn't affect SEO anymore...

But yeah, SH used to be big many moons ago. Over 10-12 years ago I remember that if your domain got on SH's list you had no chance of ranking in google, but apparently this has changed, which is good :)

On the other hand I have fresh new domains that are clean (have no history) but got listed after I put it on a offshore webhost, and boom, it won't move.

I can't tell why that is, does it affect anything or not?
 
Google does not directly consider the Spamhaus blacklist when determining search rankings. However, being listed can harm your website's reputation and user engagement, indirectly affecting your SEO performance. Avoid it as much as possible.

no idea how reliable it still is. Like I said earlier, many years ago it was one of the most important sites for online biz, but I don't know what's become of it

I just rented 2 domains .site and .xyz and both were put in spamhaus even though they were just normal websites. Is there any way to remove the domain from their list? It's annoying when you haven't done anything or scammed anyone but are blacklisted.
