    Hey guys,

    I'm wondering is something wrong here?

    I'm #1 at second page LOL of a google for a term that has ~20k monthly searches, or ~14k exact searches, so it's cool number.

    Page 2 of about 819,000 results and I'm first on it.

    But I have NO VISITORS... :( :(

    Can anyone give some sort of explanation why is this happening? :(

    Thank you!

    Number 11 won't get you many visitors at all, relatively few people will click to the second page of results. Often if they don't find what they're looking for on the first page, they'll try another query.

    Plus 14K monthly isn't that much, it's only 500 a day. When you divide that by the number who click through to the second page and then divide that again by the number who will actually click on your site then it won't be very many people.

    Thank you for clarifying this for me. :)

    I'll try now to hop on and make it to page one... I hope to get visitors then... :)

    Also make a bunch of other sites / pages focusing on more keywords. Even if you don't hit number one, you will multiply your traffic exponentially, rather than getting small incremental increases for an individual keyword.

    Tnx for advice. :) I will do, and I'm on something like that...

    You know thing is that I've been trying to push up this kw on top and I've still haven't done it, I'm working on it for 2 months approx, I know it's not big competition, but for me, its HUGE competition. :)

    Thing is that first 10 websites on page 1 of google actually are wikipedia, few .edu sites and 2-3 or "usual adsense" websites... Next one that I should "hop over" is actually that .edu website.

    It scares the sh*t out of me... lol

    Honestly that's a good reason to focus on other keywords and new sites. Edus and wikipedia are extremely difficult to beat even if you really know what you're doing because of the trust / authority of those domains.

    You could actually be doing a really good job of your SEO efforts (and it sounds like you're doing OK, if you're up to number 11) but you wouldn't know because the competition is so stiff.

    You want to pick lots of easy, low hanging fruit with soft competition.

    UPDATE

    When I search without " " my keyword here I'm 11th

    When I search WITH "my keyword here" I'm 25th :(

    Which one is more accurate?

    I guess this is why I actually have not visitors, because I'm on page 3 and not 2.

    Are you talking about searching with quotes and without quotes? Without quotes is more accurate, virtually no one except webmasters searches for stuff with quotes.

    @dichotom
    Thank you for that. I'm pretty sure that I will not forget that now neither when I've read the study. Very useful. It's very useful to know as well when building a website what people actually look and what they read first on a page and stuff... Tnx.

    @imagetypers
    Oh well, it's all the same, even we are selling products, services, doing adsense, it's the same thing. We all want to be #1 on G. :)

    Quote is cool, it's not mine though, it dates from 338 B.C. actually. :)

    Some history about it (this is just copy/paste): In August of 338 B.C., the Athenian orator and statesman Demosthenes was an infantryman at Chaeronea, where a great battle took place between the Athenians and the Macedonians. The Macedonians were victorious, and 3,000 Athenians died. Demosthenes fled from the battlefield and was subsequently censured because of his desertion. To anyone who later called him a coward, Demosthenes retorted, "The man who runs away may fight again." From that line is derived the modern day version "He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day."
