Is someone trying to get my page banned?

So I just started my fifth IG page (using massplanner but growing each account gradually because I plan on this being a long term thing) and ever since last night one picture has been blowing up.

I had about 30 followers at the time of posting it, my other pictures got around 30-70 likes each, with the max being 80 or so... Now its at 1,400 likes with 30 comments and continues to keep growing. I haven't purchased any "like services" or anything.

What could be going on here? I ranked in the "popular" section for a few of the smaller hashtags, but none of the really big ones. The account is also growing in followers quickly too, my massplanner settings are set pretty conservatively (only having it follow 200-350 a day with long breaks in between).

Also, 80% of the accounts look real, as in they have several hundred followers with many posts, bios, etc.

It doesn't sound like someone is trying to get your account banned.

Maybe you hit the explore page.

I dont think that someone is trying to get you banned at all. Maybe you`re just unlucky.

Test the reach for new posts. If it remains like before, then you were bombed. If your reach increases lots, then you're lucky as fk!

True, forgot about the explore page. Isn't that all specific for each user now though after IG's update?

I posted about 5-6 more pictures after that, two with the same hashtags and all of them got around 60 likes :/

But yeah, I have no idea why someone would care enough to ban a small account like that. It's just weird lol. Funny thing is I took the picture from an authority account off the explore page lol.

You can't have someone banned by sending them likes..

If this were the case then we would have no competition because we would just buy them likes and get them banned.

You would've hit the explore page.

Yeah it was probably the explore page. I mean in theory, could you not buy a shit ton of fake likes and followers (obviously more than what I experienced) and trigger some red flags? Would probably be easy to recover for most people, but still. I was a little drunk when I started the thread..lol

Is there a way to send someone else's account likes/ followers? Because I know a lot of pages that got disabled for "artificially collecting likes/followers"

It could be that some big account liked your pic btw!

They certainly do. Just like buying like for yourself but you buy them for another account...

I highly doubt they were banned for that though.

You can get a new account banned by sending power likes (not small fake likes). There are cases of this. But as the OP points out, why would anyone care enough to do this to a new account.
