There was a time when $SOL hit $294, and FOMO and on-chain activity surged—hype was everywhere. But soon, it started retracing. There were glimpses of a price trend, but nothing sustainable.
However, SOL has started 2026 with strong activity from both investors and the network itself. Solana ETFs, launched in late 2025, have already surpassed $1 billion in assets, with significant daily inflows. Major firms like Morgan Stanley and State Street are getting involved. The network is healthy, with more users and growing DeFi activity, now totaling around $9 billion.

The ecosystem is expanding with new privacy projects, real-world assets, and consumer apps like Solana Mobile. While SOL is consolidating, holding support around $120–$130, it could rise to $160–$180 in early 2026, with long-term forecasts between $170–$300+. Hopefully, the potential materializes, as I’m trying to accumulate via BG Crazy 48h they’re in Phase 18 now, and it’s the last push for me.

Where do you see Solana finishing at the end of Q1?

$400-500

bought myself tons of solana but not the coin itself but options from the new ETF's which has been created

Oh nice.. so you truly believe $sol Could hit $500 during its peak?. I'm also looking at EGLD and here's my analysis from it. It's also featured on Crazy 48h I mentioned and that could be an opportunity to consider for myself.

No its peak will be arround $1200 in a year.
You asked for end of q1 which is the peak of the first run

I’m cautiously optimistic on SOL going into Q1. The ETF inflows and institutional names getting involved definitely change the narrative compared to the last hype driven run. Back then it felt very momentum based, now the network activity actually seems to back it up.

That said, I still think SOL needs to prove it can hold higher levels for a while. The $120–$130 support is key. If that holds and the broader market doesn’t roll over, I could see SOL pushing into the $160–$180 range by the end of Q1. Anything above that might need a stronger market wide catalyst.
Personally, I’m treating this phase as accumulation and patience rather than expecting a straight move up. Solana has potential, but it tends to move fast in both directions, so I’m keeping expectations realistic.

Under valued.
Cost of transacitons & speed matters in the ultimate views of retail consumers which will fuel the crypto industry heavily again at some point. Major adoption globally.

As of now, Solana is very undervalued still.

Underperforming.

Altcoins are based on hype and forecasts are just made by those who bought the coin and want others to buy in. Dogecoin and other money makers were more of luck because they were overhyped by Elon for a quick buck. Altcoins cannot be observed technically unlike stocks, bonds, and commodities.

Went in early on Bitcoin and sold at 2x profit, regret not having bought more back then. But now, Bitcoin dropped and everything else came went down with it. Better to ride with stable picks then GRQ hype.
