Is solana not a good choice anymore?

There was a major correction in prices. Though other coins also dropped but this coin had comparatively higher correction. Should I sell all my solana now and invest in other coins like bitcoin?

Good choice or bad choice is irrelevant in crypto. All crypto prices, including Bitcoin, are manipulated by the smart money whales. So, if you bought Solana, do not sell at a loss. Hold it, the price will go up again (and after that even down again).
 
Hard to be sure, Solana has a supply unlock happening this weekend, so that might’ve suppressed the price. Other than that personally I’d say switching from alts (short term) to BTC (long term) is never a bad idea.
 
Solana remains a competitive blockchain platform, but its network stability and centralization disputes are issues that need attention

No, it’s better to hold. The market correction will probably be over soon, the market will get pumping again.
 
Now it pumped again, you can buy at high prices in peace now

Sol is still good on the long term
 
Just remember
SOL at one point in life after reaching over 250 shriveled to barely $20 a sol for a long while before it was resurrected ;)
 
Solana’s had its ups and downs, but the tech is still moving forward—especially with upgrades like Firedancer on the way. It’s fast, cheap, and still gaining adoption in DeFi and NFTs, so I wouldn’t count it out just yet.
 
Only sell Solana if your long-term conviction has changed—diversifying into Bitcoin can reduce risk, but don't panic sell solely due to short-term corrections.
 
I think Solana is still a good choice because of memecoins casino and retail attention. It’s way easier to use than most EVM chains, which is why Retail users love it.
Also, Solana outperforms ETH on almost every bounce, it just moves better when the market picks up.
Wouldn’t be shocked if it flips ETH one day.
 
Not only this coin affected, most of other altcoins also affected. Most of the exchangea promoting new altcoins. Like binance has new feature called alpha for users.
 
Solana is still the king in terms of memecoin trading volume and it’ll stay that way this cycle, just BSC was last cycle (back in ‘21). I still feel like when altcoin season really kicks off we’ll see some solid SOL price action.
 
Solana is still a valid chance, but in my opinion it already pumped a lot since its bottom. So, there are better alternatives for maximize your profit opportunities.

Solana's kinda a gamble, and it didn't work out this year (2025) because of how crypto moves. If you don't know much about that, maybe just stick to Bitcoin for a safer bet, and throw a bit into PAX Gold. Keep your other coins small for now. But those alts might surprise you later this year if the Fed drops rates.
