If anything I would say social media is more alive then ever. People sell their services on nearly every marketplace on the net. Followers, tweets, retweets, subscribers, views, plays, downloads, pins, repins, friends, and so on.

IMO, just because facebook "is dead" (even though I do not think so, yet), doesn't mean that all Social Media is dead. G+ is continously growing, I have a lot of faith in it.
