Is Social Media Becoming Too Competitive?

Yeah, definitely. There’s so much content being posted that it’s harder to get noticed, but I think consistency and having a recognizable style matter even more now. The people who stand out are usually the ones who give people a reason to remember them.

competition is insane but most ppl focus on content when they ignore basics like proper account warmup and real engagement. ive seen ppl post fire content on cold accounts and get buried while others with weaker posts blow up just bc their accounts are aged and have actual audience connection. dont overlook the fundamentals

For sure. The sheer volume of daily uploads makes organic growth a grind. Algorithms favor high engagement right away, so unless you hook people instantly, your stuff just gets buried.

Hi everyone,
Do you think it’s becoming harder to grow on social media because there’s so much content being posted every day?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Yes it's definitely harder than a few years ago, since there are too many people competing nowadays for other people's eyeballs/views.

Yeah, the volume is insane but I believes that the generic stuff is the one that is not getting noticed. A small account with gud character can easily break through.

yeah definitely more competitive now so much content posted every day.good content can still stand out if it feels useful or different from the usual stuff.

definitely feels more competitive now, but i think consistency and having a clear niche matter more than trying to post everywhere. theres just way too much content to be generic anymore

Yes but the real change is people got way more selective.
They join fewer groups and ignore generic content because there's too much noise.

So the winners are those who can not just attract, but retain with quality content or a real product.
