Is social bookmarking dead in 2019?

Hey guyz, i have known recently that social bookmarking is dead in 2019. Is it true?
If i do social bookmarking will it negatively affect my SEO.

You can use them for diversity and for indexing pages.

They don't negatively affect SEO.
They're good for diversity.
You won't necessarily rank #1 only with them, but they're good to have. They look natural for Google crawlers if used in addition to other backlinks.

I have done many social bookmarking but the links are not shown in ahref why?

Don't worry about that. Some sites take longer to index, and some are non-indexable.
But as long as Google bots see them, it doesn't matter if Ahrefs shows the backlinks.

Guest blogging , Article , Blogs , Web2.0 , Local classified sites which are related to your niche , Business directories , keep small amount of signature links from forums.

Social bookmarking is still live, as we know social bookmarking is a heart of your website without doing social bookmarking you can't grow your traffic on your website.

it is used for diversity nothing else it won't help that much , Go with guest blogging or article posting sites. they'll drive quality traffic.
