Is silo structure still works??

I personally haven't notice any negative effect when using Silo structures. Might be different depending on traffic volume

just help me to understand Does URL structure affects rankling if the same keyword appears 2 times in URL(example.com/nike-shoes/nike-shoes-sports/)
 
Silo structures still work, but it doesn't mean that you have to structure is by directories, especially with modern day content management systems.
 
Do not use keyword twice in url.
Siloing is less importan these days for niche sites. Just gain topical relevancy and interlink, by the way its some kind of silo :)
 
The structure you currently have (example.com/silo-page/silo-page-child-post/) is considered a physical silo.

I have personally seen better results with the same silo structure.

And yes, the silo works till today!

It makes sense to provide organized content to crawlers to get understood easily.

thanks for your hope... I was thinking am using the keyword twice so it would be a problem.

Are both of those pages indexed? Both with unique content (text) on them? It's quite a vague question.
 
It works, but if your site is new, it's still going to be in the sandbox. I don't think it can rank on its own as well as it used to for brand new domains.
