Either works, Shopify is more costly but comes prepackaged with everything you might need. WooCommerce is essentially free, if you have the slightest web dev experience.

I would say so, but not much experience.

If you know how to set up everything using woocommerce then it's better to use it. For non-techy users, shopify is a pre-packaged solution.

Shopify is easier to start with but the fees and apps will drain your budget.

Why are people concidering wordpress as something you should have a web dev background to manage. It's not. It's literally similar to shopify with drag and drop features but with superior options, features and extensions. You just have to buy a theme, install the demo data and replace it with yours. That's it. Everything else come packaged with it.

It's not that hard again. You can make a shopify site in 3 hours and a woocommerce site in 5 hours. The difference is in the server side. Here again, you can get a managed hosting and the "issue" is fixed.

Stop making easy things hard. It's not.
