Is Shopify/Dropshipping worth it anymore?

I used to be so interested in making money online using this method. Unfortunately, I wasn't in a good place in life at the time but now I am. I want to know is it still worth it to start a Shopify/drop shipping business? If so do you have any guide suggestions that could help me?

Side note: Would a dropshipping Tee Shirt business be better than regular items?

Yes, it is, almost anything is if you are willing to work harder than your competition. With Shopify/dropshipping, IMO, it comes down to the amount of time you spend properly researching/understanding your market and truly learning the ins and outs of marketing platforms.

You can learn the basics by just watching videos on Youtube. And for your tee shirt business, what makes you different? It is all about standing out within the time frame you have with a potential customer.

If you are driving traffic to your website via. Facebook ads or Instagram influencers, what makes you stand out? People don't go on Facebook to buy shit, they go to mindlessly scroll. You come along with a generic ad and it gets lost in a sea of information because it never stood out in the first place.

The thing is I'm a beginner. I was planning on getting a marketing service to help me with the marketing side.
 
You might want to consider learning at least the basics first. The world of IM is full of scams, be careful and don't be in haste. Without understanding basics you will burn your money and people will take advantage of you. I am also a newbie to this whole thing....good luck to you.
